Paul Leon Denny, age 76, of Choctaw, Oklahoma passed away, peacefully, on Tuesday January 23, 2018 at 5:00 p.m. surrounded by his family at home. Paul was born September 9, 1941 in Pampa, Texas to Herbert and Mary Juanita (Wall) Denny. He was affectionately known to those closest to him as “ReRun”. Paul made friends easily and had an ornery way about him. He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force and served in both Vietnam and Korea. He went on to work for the USAF as a computer analyst. He was a lifetime member of the American Legion and The VFW. He enjoyed bowling in his league at Planet Bowl, playing pool and just having fun in generally. He frequently said, “If you aren’t having fun, then someone else is”. He loved Star Trek, his family, and Crown Royal. He enjoyed travelling all over the country with his family on Amtrak adventures.
Paul is survived by his spouse, Chong Denny of 37 years; son Randy Denny; daughter YuYu Wade and husband Adam Wade; siblings, Delores J. Cowsert, Richard Denny, Herbert Odell Denny, and Evelyn Collene Burrogh ; grandchildren, Shelly Merry, Aaron Merry, Josh Denny and, Ryan Denny. Paul was preceded in death by his parents; and daughter Nikie Merry; and siblings, Oda Deaun M Clodean, and Paul L. Denny.
A visitation for Paul will be held Friday, January 26, 2018 from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home, 8805 Northeast 23rd Street, Oklahoma City, OK 73141. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 27, 2018 at 10:00 AM, 8805 Northeast 23rd Street, Oklahoma City, OK 73141. Paul will be entombed at Arlington Memory Gardens, 3400 North Midwest Blvd, Oklahoma City, OK 73141.
