

Paul Melton Coker was born to Melton Coker and Dora Benson on April 22, 1933, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Paul was proud to serve his country in the Army, work for Victory Glass for 35 years, and attend Trinity Baptist Church.
On December 28, 1953, Paul married the love of his life, Norma Jean Thomas. The two lived together in Newalla, Oklahoma, for 55 years and had five children.
Paul enjoyed the color blue and loved to spend sunshiny days fishing or camping. He delighted in watching his children play and taught those around him the importance of attending church and working hard. Paul wanted to be remembered for his love for people; he never met a stranger.
He is survived by his brothers, James Coker (wife Billye Coker) of Chandler, Oklahoma; Earl Coker (wife Irene Coker) of Fort Worth, Texas; Timothy Coker (wife Joannie Coker) of Oklahoma City; and Larry Coker (wife Rene Coker) of Blanchard, Oklahoma. He is also survived by his sisters, Juanita Keith (husband Ellis Keith) of Swanton, Oklahoma; Geneva Coker (husband Robert East) of Prague, Oklahoma; Thelma Keith of Oklahoma City; and Dee McFarland of Oklahoma City.
Paul is also survived by his daughter Beverly Campbell (husband Cliff Diseker) of Princeton, Texas; daughter Sandra Lambert (husband Mark Lambert) of Waco, Texas; six grandchildren, and fourteen great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by son Danny Coker.
Paul will be missed by all who knew him.
A visitation for Paul will be held Thursday, April 17, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:30 PM at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home, 8805 NE 23rd Street, Oklahoma City, OK 73141.
