She graduated in 1952 from Capital Hill High School as an honor roll student, and was married to Glen Austin Cook for 64 years.
She spent her life as a devoted daughter, sister, wife and mother and later a loving “Grannie.” She loved antiques and owned her own business for years. She was very creative and was always busy making all kinds of crafts and cross stich, filling her booths at craft shows and running a tourist shop in Lake City, Colorado for twelve years. Jean worked for several years at the State Fair of OK in the 4H building, and was honored with a plaque in 2000 for her service. She was an avid gardner with one of the most beautiful yards on her block. One of our fondest memories of her is the way she spoiled us all with her holiday treats.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers Jerry and Melvin Davidson and son Wesley Scott Cook. She is survived by her husband, one brother Charles Davidson, sisters Hazel Compton and Linda Steele; daughter Glenna Carroll and son-in-law Eugene, son Brian Cook and daughter-in-law Darice, seven grandchildren; Elizabeth Pierce, Benjamin Carroll, Joseph Carroll and wife Jonica, Catherine Donley and husband Devin, Nicholas Cook and wife Morgan, Ashlee Quigel and husband Jessie, Brittany Grimes, and 18 great- grandchildren; Zeb, Evie, Elijah, Rieley, Emma, Keethan, Thaaron, Kailiegh, Brennan, Carver, Colson, Chloe, Brooklyn, Boston, Brittan, Weston, Brylee, Ashlyn, and many nieces and nephews.
