Nancy Alice Hanneld

Nancy Alice (Lee) Hanneld passed away on July 1, 2022 in Oklahoma City, OK. Nancy was born on March 18, 1938 in Ames, IA. While attending college at Westmoore, she met her late husband, Victor Hanneld. Alongside her family, Nancy lived in Fremont, NE for 18 years before moving to Oklahoma. During her life, Nancy obtained a degree in Early Childhood Development and enjoyed working with children most of her career. Besides being a mother and wife, Nancy had belonged to a sorority and local church groups. She attended New Hope Methodist Church since moving to Oklahoma. One of her favorite pastimes was crafting, and she loved to sew.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Mancel and Romona Lee, her husband, Victor Hanneld, and her son-in-law John Lacy. She is survived by her brother, Rick Lee, her children Kathy and her husband Steve Saunders, Kevin and his wife Sandy Hanneld, and Vickie Lacy. She is also survived by her grandchildren Stephanie and her husband James Willis, Jesse Saunders, Jennifer and her husband Jason Nigh, Tabitha and her husband Brian Hall, Gregg and his wife Lauren Lacy, and Geoff and his wife Baylee Lacy. She also has six great grandchildren, Justice, Lyrik, Jaxon, Max, Reysa, and Reyden.

She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Memorial service to celebrate Nancy's life will be held at Chapel Hill Funeral & Memorial Gardens located at 8701 NW Expressway Oklahoma City, OK 73162.
