Mollie Katherine Say - Campbell

Mollie was born in Oklahoma City on December 1,1987, and died in Oklahoma City on June 26, 2023. Mollie was a beloved daughter, eldest sister, friend and a caring wife. She attended Casady School, where she met many of her lifelong friends, and continued on to the University of Oklahoma, later graduating with a degree in art history.

Sweet, kind Mollie was a light in every life she touched. She was the first to drop everything when someone needed her. Mollie was a genuine person and a loyal friend to all, and she never missed an opportunity to crack a joke. Her beautiful smile offered encouragement and comfort to everyone she encountered. Mollie loved to have fun, from hosting weekly girls’ night gatherings to her many themed parties. She enjoyed spending time at Gilbert Lake, Wisconsin, wakeboarding and swimming with her springer spaniels. Mollie’s list-making ability was unparalleled, whether packing for a trip, planning her workday or organizing a fund-raiser. She was never satisfied until she crossed off everything on her list.

Mollie enjoyed her profession, working closely with her father, supervising his company’s real estate interests. With her strong organizational and interpersonal skills, she excelled in her responsibilities that ranged from budgeting and design approvals to interacting with clients, builders and city officials. She was persistent and thorough always. Mollie’s consuming passion was her board work at A Chance to Change, which allowed her to expand her reach to help many people with addiction and mental illness. In addition, Mollie never passed up an opportunity to offer a hand and give of herself to anyone in need.

Mollie is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Barbara and Bruce Johnson; and paternal grandparents, Jean and Burhan Say. She is survived by her parents, Katie and Tony Say; sister, Emily Say, sister, Caroline Say Cofsky and her husband, Jeff Cofsky; many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.

A celebration of Mollie’s life will be held Thursday, July 6, 2023 at 10:00 am at Christ the King Catholic Church, 8005 Dorset Drive, Oklahoma City, OK.
