Mary W. Cannon

Mary W. Cannon was born April 18, 1929 to Albert S. Beasley and Della Mae (Woodard) Beasley in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Public Education, and went on to work as a school teacher for many years. Mary loved her family dearly and was very proud of her grandkids and great-grandkids accomplishments. She was a Sooner Football and Thunder Basketball fan and was a coach’s wife. Mary enjoyed growing cherry tomatoes and flowers in pots that decorated her front porch. She was a world traveler, having visited Russia, Norway, Sweden and England. She also enjoyed fishing for trout with her husband, who she often out-fished.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband Robert Cannon; her parents; and 1 son, Richard Patrick Cannon. She is survived by her daughter, Sherry and husband David Eidson; brother, Everette Beasley; grandchild, Matthew and wife Misty Eidson; grandchild, Derick and his wife Kelsy Eidson; grandchild, Lisa Cannon; great grandchildren, Tucker Eidson; Addeline Eidson, Deacon Eidson; Cannon Eidson; Taylor Eidson; niece, Beverly and husband Robert Raley; niece, Lynn and husband George Pollack; niece, Jeanne and husband Joel Summerhill.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00P.M., Saturday, June 2, 2018 at Bill Eisenhour Northeast Chapel, 8805 NE 23rd St., Oklahoma City. Interment will follow at Arlington Memory Gardens, 3400 N. Midwest Blvd., Midwest City.
