Lorine Katherine Moore

Lorine Katherine (Gugel) Moore, 97, beloved wife and mother, passed away on April 15, 2020, in Del City, OK. She was born on October 10, 1922, in Frankenmuth, MI to Walter and Helen (Geyer) Gugel. Upon graduation from high school, she attended nursing school and served as a Flight Nurse until Honorably Discharged in 1953. After raising her children, she returned to work as an RN at Midwest City Hospital for 17 years. She married Alvin Moore, Jr. on October 27, 1947, in Great Barrington, MA. She had three children, Michael and Audrey Moore, and Paul Hintz. Lorine was a longtime member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Midwest City, OK.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband. She is survived by her 3 loving children. Memorial contributions can be made to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Midwest City, OK or Hospice Quality Care, Del City, OK. The family would especially like to thank the staff at Wellington Parke Assisted Living for their wonderful care; and also her compassionate team from Hospice Quality Care. Lorine was very grateful for a long and blessed life, even as she looked forward to the day she would ‘dwell in the house of the Lord forever’.

Visitation will be held Friday, April 17, 2020, from 11:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. at Bill Eisenhour NE Funeral Home, Oklahoma City, OK. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2020, at Arlington Memory Gardens, Midwest City, OK. Arrangements are under the direction of Bill Eisenhour Northeast Funeral Home.
