Lisa Lee Thee, age 63 of Oklahoma city passed away at her childhood home, after a struggle with colon cancer, on February 1st, 2017.
Lisa was born to Delbert and Virginia Brown on June 11, 1953 in Oklahoma City where she spent the majority of her life. She was active in church from high school through most of her adult life. Lisa enjoyed helping the community and those less fortunate through acts of giving and kindness. Her willingness to help those around her was a reflection of her deeply held faith in God and her desire to be a witness to those with whom she interacted.
Lisa married Melvin Thee II in 1971 and, while they would later get divorced, the two remained close. Lisa is survived by her three children, Josh Thee, Justin Thee and Trey Thee, and her two grand children Riley and Hailey Thee. She spent the majority of her working career at Accent Carpets, the family-owned carpet and rug store, in Northwest Oklahoma City.
Her kind heart and deep faith in God gave her peace in her final months. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends and those who knew her.
