Linda Ann Cassidy

On March 29, 2017, Linda Ann Cassidy died with her family by her side. Linda was born Sept 11, 1950 to Paul and Lucretia (Fairbanks) Ladehoff, in Monticello, Iowa. She received her education through Monticello Public Schools where she graduated in 1968. Linda lived with Multiple Sclerosis all of her adult life, although she did not let it slow her down. In 1988, Linda & her daughters moved to Oklahoma City. In 1995, she married Gerald Cassidy. They thoroughly enjoyed traveling together and were fortunate enough to visit 49 states during their many adventures. Linda is survived by her husband, Gerald, her daughters Dawn Smith, Cindy Harding and husband Brian, her stepdaughters, Lanada Hickerson and husband Elzie B, Vicki Stillwell and husband Larry, Trena Hodges and husband Karl, Dedra Conover and husband Don, her sister Mary Lou Fall, and brother Steven Ladehoff. She has 10 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, 2 nieces and 1 nephew. Linda was proceeded in death by her parents, her late husband, Lawrence Smith, and numerous aunts and uncles.

A memorial service will be held at Bill Eisenhour Northeast Funeral Home 8805 Northeast 23rd Street; Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73141 on April 1, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that any donations be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Oklahoma or Camp Courageous in Monticello, Iowa.
