Lawrence "Red" Terrell, longtime resident of Midwest City, OK, passed away August 24, 2010 at his home. Born July 9, 1935 in Shamrock, OK, he was the son of Joseph Josiah Terrell and Mabel Alice Rowdon Terrell. He spent two years in the Army and then was a longtime maintenance specialist for a wholesale grocery warehouse. Red loved fishing; raising cattle and horses on his farm; tractors; his 3 little dogs; and was a "tools guy" who loved to fix things. Surviors include his wife Delois of the home; 2 sons, Ray Lockeby and his wife Liz of Shawnee, OK; Billy Terrell of San Antonio, TX; two daughters, Debra Carter and her husband Frank of Tecumseh, OK; Susie Terrell Matthews and her husband Nathan of Choctaw, OK; 8 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 28, 2010 at Bill Eisenhour Northeast Chapel in Oklahoma City, OK, with Pastor Rick Belicek officiating. Burial will follow military honors at Elmwood Cemetery in Choctaw, OK. Arrangements are under the direction of Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home, Oklahoma City, OK.
