Larry Keith Phillips was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Keith and Glenda Phillips, January 14, 1950. He passed away July 19, 2024 after a prolonged illness. He graduated from Northwest Classen High School in 1968 and proceeded to the University of Oklahoma. He became a member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity and graduated in 1972 with a degree in marketing. He then joined his father in the family business, Modern Music Company. Larry was the president of Modern Music Company, B & R Vending Company, and the manager of PALS Properties until his retirement in 2020. He was a board member of the Club of Lake Aluma for many years, also serving as treasurer. He married Anne Louise Buchanan July 27, 1974 and together they had two children, Lindsay Jane and Gregory Buchanan. Larry is survived by his wife, Anne, of the home; daughter Lindsay DaVault and husband Jason, their children Augustus Pena and Jayden DaVault of Kenefic, Oklahoma; and son Gregory of Oklahoma City. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Susan Campbell. A memorial service will be held at Hahn-Cook/Street and Draper Funeral Home on July 27, 2024 at 2pm. In lieu of flowers the family asks that you donate to the Breakthrough T1D Foundation for the benefit of Type I Diabetes Research.
