Keith graduated from Wheeler High School in Wheeler, TX, and attended the University of Houston. During his college years, Keith was recruited by Southwestern Bell, where he was employed until his retirement. Keith lived in Texas in the Dallas area, Terrell, Prosper, and Greenville for most of his adult life and was a member of the Choctaw Nation. He loved almost all music, including Rock, Country, Blues, and Jazz.
Keith’s perfect day would be golf in the morning, geocaching in the afternoon, reading, or listening to a book. He enjoyed participating in fantasy football leagues and watching his beloved Dallas Cowboys.
Keith will forever be remembered for his great sense of humor and keen wit. He had a passion for travel, history, art, gaming and had a story for almost any situation.
He was a great friend, son, and brother. Keith was delighted to gather friends together for adventures. He enjoyed serving as his fantasy football league commissioner for over 30 years.
Keith will be cherished forever by his sisters, Debbie, and husband, Stephen Whatley of Bayou Vista, TX; Charlotte, and husband, Donny Mitchell of Lone Grove, OK; Marsha Cooke; and Mary Cooke, and husband, Brian Kirkpatrick.
