Kathie Leah Armstrong

Kathie attended school in both Nicoma Park and Choctaw schools. She worked in Office Administration as an Office Manager. Kathie played softball and later coached her daughter Shonda's Basketball and softball teams. One of Kathie's favorite pastimes was to go searching or shopping for antiques. Kathie loved watching OU Football and being at the lake. Above all she loved spending time with her loved ones using any vacation to go and visit family. To Kathie her family was and will still be her greatest and proudest achievement.

She is preceded in death by her parents O.B. and Wanda Newnam; brother, Stephen Newnam; and her niece, Jacque Duggan.

Kathie is survived by her daughter, Shonda Jay; son, Eric Armstrong and wife Karen; sister, Joyce Michael and husband Dan; sister, Judy Leal; sister, Jan Hurt and husband John; brother, Charlie Newnam and wife Carrie; grandchildren, Aryn Branton, Cody Jay, Breanna Jay, Jaxon Armstrong, and Preston Armstrong; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.
