She was born June 18, 1932 to Christian parents Arthur C. Poindexter and Pearl Gayle Poindexter in Shattuck, Ok. She grew up in Gage, OK and graduated from Gage Highschool in 1950. She continued her education at the University of Oklahoma. Around this time she met and married the love of her life, Earl C. Madison II. They were blessed to be married for 66+ wonderful years.
June gave her heart to Jesus when she was a young girl and loved serving Him through singing, giving, praying, ministering, greeting, volunteering and serving in her Church, Christian Women’s, Fashion Oklahoma and other organizations. She loved reading the Bible and serving others.
June and Earl developed, owned and managed a group of specialty clothing stores: Tammy-Linn Youth Fashions for children and youth, Village Buggy for Women, and Guy Madisons for boys and young men. For 25 years, they strived to serve their faithful customers with entertaining décor, quality merchandise, and with loving, helpful employees. They honored God by never opening stores on Sunday, the Lord’s day.
June was an active member of Crossings Community Church where she worshipped, attended Sunday School class, greeted and served.
June was survived by her beloved husband Earl C. Madison II who joined her in Heaven on November 2, 2020.
She is also survived by their much-loved children Earl (Guy) Madison III and wife Jennifer of Oklahoma City; Jana Madison Ratliff and husband Steve of Edmond, OK; Julie Madison Benear of Edmond, OK. She is also survived by ten wonderful grandchildren: Kristin Madison Lewis (& Burke); Lindsey Madison Pennington (& Chad); Chad Madison; Hannah, Maddie, Olivia Madison; Kimberly (& Shane) Kessler; Jerry (& Misty) Duvall; Shannon (& Randy) Kakish; Kaylee Benear: ten great-grand children, Lily and Lucy Lewis; Aidan and Landon Pennington; Justin, Jordan, Noah, Hailey Duvall; Jayden Kakish, Jakobi Benear;
Brother & Sister-in-love Clayton & MaryAnn Poindexter & Niece Monica Stasyszen & husband Rick; one great-niece and three great-nephews; one great-great niece and one great-great nephew.
Sister-in-love Linda Hibbs and Niece LeeAnn Alexander.

A Memorial Celebration Service will be held

2:00 pm on Thursday, November 12, 2020 at Crossings Chapel.
