Our Mom and Nannaw was called home to heaven to join her husband, our dad, on February 4, 2013. She was born on January 24, 1934 to Harold and Virginia White in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She graduated from Classen High School, midterm, in 1952. Joan married the love of her life Donald L. McMillan on April 19, 1952, together they had four children; Debbie Boykin (Bennie), Michael McMillan (Sara), David McMillan, and Robyn Jones (Mike). The grandchildren left to cherish her memory are Eric, Darby, Aaron, Corey, Tyler, Tanner, Kasie, Trevor, Trinity, Gunnar, Cody and Tyler, as well as her great grandchildren, Rylie, Camron, Noah and Maxwell. Joan is also survived by her brother Alan White (Nancy) as well as nieces and nephews. Our mother had a happy, fun-loving, outgoing personality. She never met a stranger and she loved to laugh. She loved her family and life; her personality made her a Mom and Nannaw to many. Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m., Thursday, February 7, 2013 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home with a visitation being held Wednesday from 5-8 p.m.
