Joan Maude Garrett, age 96, of Edmond, passed away October 17, 2021. She was born in Oklahoma City on January 7, 1925. Joan graduated from Luther High School and received a Business degree from the University of Central Oklahoma.
She was married to Clay Garrett in 1949.
Joan worked as a secretary for Fram Corporation. She also had a passion for world travels and loved spending time with her family and friends.
She was survived by grandchildren, David Garrett and wife Jessica, Daniel Garrett and wife Ashley; and two great granddaughters, Ava and Lucy Garrett.
A visitation for Joan will be held Friday, October 22, 2021 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Memorial Park Funeral Home in Oklahoma City, OK. A funeral service will occur Saturday, October 23, 2021 at 10:30 AM at Memorial Park Funeral Home.
