Jewell ‘Judy’ Smith, 88, passed from this life on May 8, 2015 in Oklahoma City. She was born November 18, 1926 in Long Lane, Missouri to Clyde and Grace (Huntley) Richardson. Judy was baptized into the Lord’s Church in August 1944 and most recently attended the Westview Church of Christ in Piedmont. She worked as an underwriter for United Founders Life Insurance. Judy was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Edith Turner. She is survived by her son David Smith and his wife Vickie; daughter Jacqueline Arney and her husband David; granddaughters, Janis Barefoot and her husband Alex, Jennifer Leonard and her husband James, Tamara Kuchera and her husband Andy, Jessica Peek and her husband Dustin, and Tiffany Roop and her husband Robert; 13 great grandchildren; a very special cousin, Willie Matthews; Sister-in-law Kathy Meents and her husband Don; several nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends. The family extends their appreciation to the staff of the Integris Hospice House for their kindness and compassion during Judy’s final days.
