Jessie Marie Cusack

Jessie Marie Cusack, of Oklahoma City, passed away April 1, 2023, surrounded by her family who loved her dearly. One of four children born to Jesse Price Pierce and Mary Gertrude Edwards Pierce, Jessie was born October 28, 1936 in Ash Flat, Arkansas.

In 1965, Jessie married the love of her life, Ray Yarbrough and they shared 28 years full of love and laughter until his passing in 1993.

After which Jessie met Harold Cusack, deciding to tie the knot once again and were married in a loving relationship. They, too, would only be separated by his passing.

Family was everything for Jessie. A good mother who always wanted to make sure she was there for her each beloved member of her family. If you were having trouble finding her, she was probably in her garden, enjoying the plants and feeding the birds.

Her husbands Ray Yarbrough and Harold Cusack precede Jessie in death.

She leaves to carry on her legacy her children Cheryl and husband Garry Lavarnway of Piedmont, OK, Deborah Robertson of Edmond, OK, Kelly and wife Lynn Ferguson of Shawnee, OK, and Stephenia Disabella of Edmond, OK; siblings John Oliver, Darla Presley of Oklahoma City, OK, Ethelene and husband Richard Lindermanis of Houston, TX; six grandchildren: Brian, Tracy, Neil, Lauren, Catherine, and Chad; and 11 great-grandchildren and many grandchildren by marriage, too.

A service in honor of Jessie’s life will be held Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 8701 N.W. Expressway, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73162
