Jesse Lopez

Jesse Lopez was born on March 26, 1934 to Rosa Martinez in San Antonio, Texas. He passed away on January 3, 2021 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Jesse proudly served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War as a jet engine mechanic. He married Darlene Lopez and they had 4 children together. Jesse worked in the optical lens crafter business for many years before he retired.

Jesse leaves behind his children, Jesse Lopez, Jr., Jaylene Lopez and Steve Lopez. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Jesse is preceded in death by his wife Darlene, daughter, Lita Kay Lopez and mother, Rosa Martinez.

A service celebrating the life of Jesse will be held on Thursday, January 13, 2022 at 10 a.m. at the Advantage Funeral & Cremation Service Chapel, 7720 S. Pennsylvania Ave. Oklahoma City, OK 73159. Jesse and Darlene will be laid to rest together on Thursday, January 13 at 2 p.m. at Fort Sill National Cemetery, 2648 NE Jake Dunn Rd., Elgin, OK 73538.
