Jerry Lamar Dyer, 59 year-old resident of Choctaw, OK, passed away April 24, 2018 at his home. Born September 26, 1958 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, he was the son of Jimmy Lamar Dyer and Billie Joan (Ward) Dyer. Jerry was a State Certified Welder and Certified Boiler Operator. He loved fishing, playing softball, and plasma cutting. Preceding him in death were his father, Jimmy Dyer and one brother, Mike Dyer. Survivors include his mother, Billie Dyer of Nicoma Park, OK; his wife Linda Dyer of the home; 1 son, Wesley Smith of Choctaw, OK; 1 daughter, Lisa Marshall of Harrah, OK; 2 grandchildren, Dylan and Derek Marshall; 1 sister, Shirley and her husband Garry Potter of Tulsa, OK; and 4 nieces, Stacy, Kelly, Christy and Amber. Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April 27, 2018 at Arlington Memory Gardens, 3400 N. Midwest Blvd., Oklahoma City, OK 73141 with burial in Arlington Memory Gardens to follow the services.
