James Danny Roberts

James (Jim) was born on December 6, 1948, to James and Alice Roberts of Russellville, Arkansas. After graduating from Delavan High School in 1968, Jim went on to enlist in the United States Air Force.

Jim served 20+ years on Active Duty. While serving in the Air Force, he deployed to Vietnam, Desert Shield, and Desert Storm. After retiring, Jim continued to serve his country in the US Army as a civilian. Jim spent another 23 years where he deployed to Bosnia, Kosovo, Iraq, and Afghanistan.

Following his retirement in April 2014, Jim settled in Oklahoma.

Jim was preceded in death by his father and mother, James Andrew and Alice Marie Roberts. Jim is survived by his wife of 51 years, Salina Barcus Roberts; two children, James Daniel Roberts and wife Johnni Roberts of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; his daughter Jenett Marie Baillargeon and spouse Scott Baillargeon of Huntingtown, Maryland; two grandsons, Dakotah and Hunter Baillargeon; granddaughter Piper Baillargeon all of Huntingtown, Maryland; his sister Rita Fite of Sparkman, Arkansas and brother John Roberts and spouse Tammy Roberts of Los Lunas, New Mexico; and along with numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service for Jim will be held Wednesday, August 23, 2023, starting at 2 PM at First Indian Baptist Church of Moore, 2610 S. Broadway Avenue, Moore, OK 73160.
