James Dale Bacon, 55 year-old resident of Midwest City, Oklahoma, passed away on March 19, 2019 at his home in Midwest City, Oklahoma. Born January 22, 1964 in Kings Lynn, Norfolk, England he was the son of Jerry Lee Bacon and Jacqueline Ann (Barwell) Bacon. James was a long haul open safety engineer in the trucking industry. He loved playing pool and throwing darts; fishing for catfish and crappie; watching Texas football; cars especially a candy apple red Ford Rancho; and was a member of the APA (Amateur Pool Association). Preceding James in death were his mother, Jacqueline Bacon; and one daughter, Jasmine DeAnn Callaway Bacon. Survivors include his father, Jerry Lee Bacon; brother, Mark Bacon; nephews, Lane, Logan, and Lawson Bacon; niece, Lynsey Bacon; great-niece, Teagan Erin; his girlfriend and caregiver, Tammy Eplin; and numerous other family members and friends. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 22, 2019 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 700 N. Air Depot Blvd., Midwest City, Oklahoma with Pastor Ronald Simpson officiating. Burial will follow at Arlington Memory Gardens, Midwest City, Oklahoma.
