Glenda Carol Galutia, age 74, went to be with the Lord on December 13, 2023. Glenda was born March 22, 1949, in Stillwater, OK to Robert Lee Roark and Dorothy Maxine Roark. Her family settled in Oklahoma City where she spent her childhood with her two sisters Debi and Patty. They enjoyed a pleasant childhood and recounted countless stories of growing up in a loving home.
She married Robert “Bob” Galutia on March 29, 1968. Bob and Glenda had their first date on Thanksgiving Day and soon became high school sweethearts. They built a great life together that spanned 55 years.
Glenda attended Central State University where she obtained a double major in Chemistry and Biology. From an early age she excelled in science and research.
She grew up attending Westminster Presbyterian Church in Oklahoma City. That set the foundation for her sustaining and unshakable relationship with Lord Jesus Christ throughout her whole life. Her faith was very important to her. She was a true example of a Godly woman.
Glenda and Bob moved to Wheeler, TX in 1977 where Bob established his family practice clinic. Wheeler was home until 2018 when they moved back to OKC. Wheeler is where they raised their three children, Yancy, Niki and Suzy. Glenda had many roles during this time including raising her three children, working at the Christian School, having a weekly radio show and helping Bob through many back office jobs at his clinic.
Glenda was a devoted wife, loving mother, sweet sister, friend to many and adored nana. She treasured her family, children and her grandchildren. She spent countless hours helping others succeed. Glenda really enjoyed painting, writing, art museums, vacations with family, and was a lifelong learner. She had a very close bond with her sisters Debi and Patty. Their annual sister trip was treasured and not to be missed.
Glenda is preceded in death by her parents Robert and Maxine Roark and her Aunt Roberta Ware.
Glenda is survived by her husband, Dr. Robert Galutia.
Her son, Dr Yancy Gaultia and his wife, Dr Chelsea Galutia and their children Carina and Yelena.
Her daughter Niki Burch and her husband Todd and their children Jordan, Maddie, Sydney, Gabriel and Josie.
Her daughter Suzy Hicks and her husband Dusty and their children Ashton, Mason and Sadie.
Her Sister Debi Foreman and her husband Charlie and their daughter Marni.
Her Sister Patty Lucas and her husband Burk Lucas and their son, Burke Lucas, daughter Elizabeth (Liz) Taylor, daughter Caroline Chaney.

Visitation will be held at Hahn-Cook Funeral Home on Saturday December 16th, 2023 from 4:00-6:00 pm. Glenda’s memorial service will held in the Chapel at Hahn-Cook Funeral Home on Monday December 18th 2023 at 2:00pm with a graveside service immediately following at Rose Hill Burial Park in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
