Glendon Wayne Moore passed away on January 7, 2018 in Oklahoma City at the age of 78. Born in Atoka, Oklahoma on November 23, 1939 to Harlin and Dorothy Moore. He attended Classen High School. Glen married Linda Rae Warren on May 30, 1959 and they had two wonderful children, a son; Dennis and a daughter; Julie. He spent his days working at Moore Drywall and was an avid collector and sports fanatic. Glen collected baseball cards, autographs and sports memorabilia. He enjoyed the New York Mets, Thunder Basketball, OU Sooners & the Dallas Cowboys. Nothing made Glen more proud than being blessed with 3 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
Glen is preceded in death by his parents and his in-laws; Ray and Charlotte Warren.
He will be dearly missed but his legacy will be carried on by his beloved wife, Linda, son; Dennis, daughter; Julie and husband David Brooks, sister Helen and husband Bob Flowers, along with his 3 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, many cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, and his dachshund, Buttons.
The visitation for Glen will be held on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 from 5:00pm-8:00pm at Chapel Hill Funeral Home and the service will be on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at 10:00am at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 8701 NW Expressway, Oklahoma City, OK.
