Gerald Barnard Kluding was born on July 19, 1949 in Willard, Ohio to Mildred Mary Kluding. He spent his childhood growing up in Ohio with his sister, Jody. He attended and graduated high school from Norwalk High School in Norwalk, Ohio. After graduating, Gerald stayed in Norwalk and started working as an EMT for the City of Norwalk. Then, he decided to become a member of the Norwalk K-9 Unit, working with his trusty canine companion, King. In the year of 1979, life sent Gerald to Oklahoma City to work as a Tool Maker at General Motors. After moving to OKC, he met his wife, Mickey Martin, and they were married in 1997. He continued to work at General motors until his retirement in 2003.
He was a member of the Oklahoma City India Shriners, Palomino Mounted Patrol, Moore and Meeker Blue Lodge, Guthrie Scottish Rites, and the Sons of Confederate Veterans.
Gerald was a happy, bubbly, and friendly person. He was the definition of a true extrovert; he never met a stranger. He had a huge heart for animals, especially his donkey, Daisy. Gerald will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
