He was born March 10, 1954 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Dovie E Todd and Robert L Cherry.
Gary was married to Linda Cherry for 44 loving years. Gary loved his wife, children and grandchildren above all else and was the most wonderful husband, father, grumpy anyone could ask for. He enjoyed watching sports; especially OSU football and Thunder Basketball. Gary loved traveling Disney World with grandchildren and family, he enjoyed cooking out with family, playing with his grandchildren, sports cars, and listening to The Beatles.
Gary is survived by his spouse, Linda Cherry; son, William Cherry; daughter-in-law, Jessica Cherry; daughter, Courtney Moad; son-in-law, Heath Moad; brother, Bill Cherry; sister, Carol Cherry; grandsons, Michael Duff, Gabe Cherry, and Lucian Moad; granddaughters, Nicolette Moad, Adriana Moad.
Gary was preceded in death by his father, Robert L Cherry and mother, Dovie Todd Cherry; brother, Bob Cherry; grandfather, William Todd and grandmother, Lillie Todd; grandfather, William Cherry and grandmother, Lillie Cherry.
A funeral service for Gary will be held Sunday, February 10, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Memorial Park Funeral Home, 13313 North Kelley Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73131. A burial will occur at Memorial Park Cemetery, 13400 North Kelley Ave, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73131.
