Ms. Hooge received Bachelor of Science and Master of Liberal Arts Degrees from Oklahoma City University. She received the OCU Departmental Academic Award and an award for being Outstanding Senor, while there.
Ms. Hooge was a Director of Purchasing/Materials Management for Oklahoma Department of Corrections, Jane Phillips Hospital, and Integris Health. She was awarded Leadership Awards from Baptist Regional Health Center and Integris Health. Ms. Hooge’s volunteer activities included being a Board Member of the Enid Arts and Humanities Council, National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum, Board Member of the Oklahoma Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Foundation, and numerous committees at St. Augustine of Canterbury Episcopal Church.
Ms. Hooge was preceded in death by her mother, Mae Wallace Brodersen, and her father, Thomas Albert Brodersen. In lieu of flowers, please send memorial contributions in Ms. Hooge’s name to St. Augustine of Canterbury Episcopal Church, or to the OSU School of Veterinary Medicine, or to a charity of your choice.
Funeral Services and communion for Evelyn Ann Brodersen Hooge of the Village will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, August 26, 2022 at St. Augustine of Canterbury Episcopal Church.
Father Joseph Alsay will officiate. Inurnment will be in the Rose Hill Burial Park.
