Earnie was born July 9, 1932, in Oklahoma City to Clarence John and Esther Davis Wolf. Earnie met and married the love of his life Nancy Sue Nugent on June 11, 1956, while serving in the Air Force in Alexandria, Louisiana. He was a Chief Master Sergeant in the Air Force. After retiring from the Air Force Earnie worked for Electronic Dictation Services. Earnie was also an extra class amateur radio operator who had the call sign of K5YKD.
He is survived by a son, Earnest “Glenn” Wolf, Jr., and wife, Susan, of Arkansas; a son, David Carl Wolf and wife, Joyce, of Oklahoma; a son, Steven Ray Wolf and wife, Dawn, of Oklahoma; ten grandchildren: Michelle, Amy, Stephanie, Steven, Colleen, Carl, Warren, Paul, Scott, and Greg; 20 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Elizabeth “Sue” Mowles of Oklahoma; and a sister-in-law, June “Nellwynne” Anderson of Florida.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy; his parents; two brothers, and four sisters.
Viewing and visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, January 9, at Memorial Park Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, January 10, at Memorial Park Funeral Home, followed by the burial at Memorial Park Cemetery.
