Donna was born on March 2, 1949, in Oklahoma City, to James Junior Sexton and Wilma Mae Sexton (Broadie). She grew up in Oklahoma City and was a 1967 graduate of Crooked Oak High School.
Donna worked for 27 years at Tinker Air Force Base in civil service. She married her husband, Roy, on June 19, 1989, and they had 34 wonderful years of marriage prior to her death.
Donna loves all kinds of music, but particularly favored country and blues. She loved to shop for the best clearance items, have dinner with family, and then hit up the casino! Her greatest joy, of course, was her precious grandkids and great-grandkids.
Donna’s family learned a lot from her throughout the years, especially how to be strong and independent, work hard for the things you want, and always help when you can.
She will be remembered for the love she had for her family, her honesty, and for always being herself.
Donna is preceded in death by her brothers, James Sexton and Gary Sexton; and one sister, Teresa Ray.
She is survived by her loving husband, Roy Santin; daughters, Dana Drew of Choctaw, OK, Dawn Brockman of Choctaw, OK; step-daughters, Gina Coleman of Choctaw, OK, Tami Flud of Chandler, OK, and her husband, Billy, Shelly Wilson of Wellston, OK; brother, Kevin Sexton of Midwest City, OK; one grandchild, Drew Brockton and spouse, Taylor; and two great-grandchildren, Deagan and Kannon Brockton; two nephews, Shane Sexton and Michael Meadows; and two precious fur-babies, Dakota and Lilly.
The family requests any memorial donations be made to the Lung Cancer Society of America.
