Donald E. Sicher

Donald Eugene Sicher, 80 was born Jan. 14, 1932 in Emmaus, PA and died Feb. 13, 2012. He was in the military from 1949 – 1970 . He retired from the Air Force as a senior Master Sergeant. After his retirement from the Air Force he worked at Tinker AFB as a Civil Quality Control Inspector. Donald married the love of his life Flora Mae Reese on July , 1955. They would have been married 58 years this July. Donald had traveled to all 50 states. His love for his wife and family was immesurable. A devout Seventh Day Adventist he loved traveling, fishing, hunting, camping, and boating. Survivors include his wife Flora Sicher of the home; 2 sons, Donald and his wife Iris Sicher of Lancaster, CA; John and his wife Carla Sicher of Edmond, OK; 4 grandchildren, Stephanie Murphy; Steven Murphy and wife Andrea; Kendall; and Elyse Sicher; and 4 great-grandchildren, Kennedy Murphy; Reagan Murphy; Ryan Murphy; and Ashlyn Murphy. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Sunday, February 26, 2012 at Summit Ridge Seventh Day Adventist Church in Harrah, Oklahoma. Inurnment in Summit Ridge Cemetery will follow the services. Arrangements are under the direction of Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
