Donald worked as a landman for most of his life. However, he had several years in the car business at Bob Moore Cadillac and El Dorado Motors. He made several lifelong friends through the car business and recently, he spent time with one of his very good friends restoring old cars.
Donald was a long-time member of Mayflower Congregational Church and more currently the First Sunday Group. His true passion was helping others. It was his calling in life. Everyone that knew him could see his beautiful heart as he was always the first to be there when you needed help of any kind. He showed it through his countless hours of preparing meals and feeding the homeless through the 363 group and lunches for the kids at Positive Tomorrows. Since Donald was a passionate and skilled builder, he donated his talents to Rebuilding Together that repaired homes for the elderly as well as helping with building projects for MMO’s school for the deaf in Nicaragua.
