David Lee Patison III, age 81, passed away peacefully at his home in Choctaw, OK on Sunday morning, July 14th, 2024. He was born February 15th, 1943 in Omaha, NE to David and Margaret Patison. He graduated from Midwest City High School and attended Oklahoma State University before being drafted into the U.S. Army and serving in Vietnam. Shortly after his return, he met the love of his life, Sharon Engle, who he married and spent the next 55 years with.
David and his brother Lonnie started a jewelry manufacturing business, Londa Manufacturing, in the back of his father’s jewelry store in 1968 which they ran successfully until he retired. In 1979, he designed and built his home in Choctaw, OK, where he and his wife stayed the rest of his life.
David enjoyed working with his 3-D printer, making toys and puzzles for his family. He loved spending time with his family and his dogs. He was also an avid photographer.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon Patison of Choctaw, OK son, Jason Green and his wife Diane of McAlester, OK brother, Dennis Patison and his wife Gail of Bethel, OK grandson, Dayton Marti and his wife Denisse of Tulsa, OK grandson Cameron Green and his wife Blair of McAlester, OK granddaughter, Ali Patton and her husband Jesse of McAlester, OK granddaughter, Grace Felty, and great-grandchildren Major and Collins Green, Hank, Lilly and Clyde Patton, and Alice Felty. Nieces Lisa and her husband Sean McConnell and Summer Anderson.
David was preceded in death by his father, David Patison, mother Margaret McCuen and her husband Archie, brother, Lonnie Patison, and son, Marty Green.
