Danielle "Danni" Evans passed away on June 23, 2024, in Shawnee, Oklahoma, at the age of 56 surrounded by those that she loved. Born on November 2, 1967, in Colville, Washington, Danni grew up imbued with a sense of curiosity and bravery that would define her throughout her life. In 1998, she moved to Oklahoma with her family where she stayed for the remainder of her life.
Danni dedicated her professional years to serving as an Aircraft Mechanic at Tinker Air Force Base, where her sharp wit and meticulous nature earned her the respect and admiration of her colleagues. Her work was not just a job but a contribution to her community and country, which she served with pride and diligence.
Known for her kind, loving, and compassionate spirit, Danni was the heartbeat of her family. She loved gardening and animals and was often immersed in nature documentaries or reading about and practicing bird watching. She loved her grandchildren and built her life with the intention of creating memories for all those that she loved.
Danni leaves behind her loving husband, Jon Hollowell; her father, Richard Thompson; and her children, Sarah Beavers and her spouse Gage, Austin Michels, Brynne Wood and her spouse Chris, and Chrissy Tinnin and her spouse Bryan. She was a cherished grandmother to Jayden Tinnin, Emery Arndt, Makayla Tinnin, Noah Von Ritchie, Kane Davis, Melody Michels, Edith Von Ritchie, Dean Wood, and Hadley Beavers. Her life was preceded in death by her mother, Francis Gray, and stepfather, Robert Gray.
A memorial service to celebrate Danni's life will be held on Thursday, July 11, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home, located at 8805 NE 23rd Street, Oklahoma City, OK 73141. The Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements and invites those who knew and loved Danni to join in honoring her memory.
Danni's legacy of warmth, courage, and unwavering love for her family will continue to inspire all who knew her.
