Charles A (Tony) Jenkins was born August 23, 1943 to Harvey and Ruth (Jones) Jenkins in Leakesville, NC now Eden, NC. He is a 1962 graduate of US Grant High School.
Tony was a butcher, route salesman and retired from Tinker AFB. He was involved in Royal Ranger and Frontier Camping Fellowship through the Assemblies of God. Tony worked in craft shows making jerky, wooden toys and games then later candles and melts along with his wife Sharon and her sewing.
Tony married his true love Sharon (Barton) Jenkins on July 27, 1968. When younger, Tony took Sharon on a few campouts and roughing it in tents which was not to her liking.
Tony is survived by his wife Sharon of the home, daughter Shevaun (Aaron) Young of OKC, grandsons Abe (Addy) Young, Verdigris, OK, Lucas Young of OKC and three great grandsons, Emerson, Wylie and Kane, Verdigris, OK and nephew Justin Jenkins, Ponca City, OK, Stepmom Naomi Jenkins OKC, stepbrother Steven (Kari) White, OKC and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Tony was preceded in death by his parents, brother Ronald Jenkins.
Services will be 1:00 P.M. July 1, 2024 at Capitol Hill Assembly of God Church, located at 2400 SW 74th Street, Oklahoma City, OK. Visitation will be held at the church before services from 11:00-1:00 P.M.
