Billy F. Moore was born to Frank and Minnie Moore in Sasakwa, Oklahoma on July 21, 1929. His father worked in oil fields, where he was raised alongside his older brother John, and the eldest sister, Leonna. He came to know the Lord as his personal Savior at the age of 12. His senior year of high school they moved to Crescent, OK where, with friends at the skating rink, he met his future bride of 71 years.
Billy and Carrie Jane were married August 12, 1950, in Guthrie, Oklahoma. In their early years of marriage, they had very little but they did have a loving family, wonderful friendships, and high hopes for their future. With that future in mind, he began his career in construction. The following year they had a daughter, Glenna Faye. Eight years later, they had a son, Billy Lee. He worked hard, developed his skills, and was promoted accordingly. Throughout his career he built many beautiful buildings throughout all of Oklahoma. His family and his work were his life. He loved both to the fullest. He decided to retire at age 64; However, his young beautiful bride, decided it was not time. She put him back to work by sending off his resume, where it was quickly received.
They spent most weekends and vacations at their lake house in Texoma, where lasting memories were made. When Billy and Carrie Jane both retired, they packed their van and traveled the US; stopping to visit friends and family along the way. The extraordinary legacy he left will live on through our family for generations.
Bill is survived by his wife of 71 years Carrie Jane; daughter, Glenna Moore and husband Kerry; son, Billy Moore and wife Cheryl; Foster son, Ron Lehew and wife Vicki; grandchildren, Stephanie Cook and husband Chris, Bryan Stout, Ginger Bobala and husband Kevin, Benjamin Moore and wife Melissa, Casey Moore and wife Katie, great grandchildren Taylor Haden, Billi Bobala, Marissa Garcia, Alexandra Bobala, Caleb Moore, Grant Moore, Andrew Moore, Ethan Moore, Ava Moore, Charlie Moore, and many loving nieces and nephews.
