Barbara Barb Ashcraft Mojica

Loving wife, mother, and veteran. Barbara Tomaszewski-Mojica passed away on March 14, 2011. Barbara was born on May 18, 1969 in Racine, WI. Barbara was a strong, confident, and caring wife and mother foremost. She was raised mostly in California and Texas in her young life, eventually joining the Air Force, where she lived in various places such as New Mexico and Japan. Barbara was proud of being a veteran and her service in the Air Force with some of her term served in the Gulf War of the 90’, She held her duties and memories of it in high regard. Upon coming home after concluding her service from the Air Force she lived in Colorado to start her civilian life. She eventually moved to Oklahoma with her daughter Latisha. Barbara met her future husband Jon after 2 years of casual acquaintance and they fell in love. In the summer of 2000 Barbara and Jon Mojica married and soon after Sebastian was born to add to the family. In her last year of life, she was her son’s teacher, homeschooling and educating him. Barbara was her children’s and husband’s best friend encouraging, and always insightful - she will be missed dearly.

Barbara is survived by her husband and children; Jon Mojica of Oklahoma City, OK.; Latisha Taylor of Utica, NY; and Sebastian Mojica of Oklahoma City, OK. She was preceded in death by her parents; Mother Claudia Wood, mother; and Mark Ashcraft, Father.
