Apryl Maureen Kastens

Apryl, born May 23, 1977, in Oklahoma City, OK, was called to her heavenly home on June 21, 2015 at the age of 38. She joined the Lord in her sleep at home. A lifelong resident of Edmond, OK, she graduated from Edmond North High School and after many years of work received a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice in May 2007 from the University of Central Oklahoma. She worked most of her professional career in sales, working for a number of companies, and was always the top salesperson. Apryl is survived by the love of her life, Jay Fittro, her son Elix Poe whom she loved deeply, her brother, Jason Cody Kastens and her stepbrothers Jonathan Greenwood and Jason Greenwood. Apryl’s father Robert H Kastens, his wife Kathy, and Apryl’s mother Karen Van Clay will all miss her delightful presence. She was beautiful and charming. Apryl was a vibrant person, fun to have around and had a wide range of friends and business associates. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran Church, and held on to her faith all of her life. She will be dearly missed, having been taken too early in life. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 1st at 11:00 am at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 308 NW 164th Street, Edmond, OK.
