Andy Mahoney was born in Oklahoma City, OK on November 8, 1969. He was the son of Grant and Shirley Mahoney and little brother to Tim Mahoney. He struggled with diabetes for over 10 years. He was taken after a long fight with pneumonia and MRSA staff infection. Andy attended St. Charles Borromeo grade school, before finishing up at Putnam City grade school and high school. He loved motorcycles and hot rods and street rods. Always a big car enthusiast. Loved concerts and music, and collected antiques. Andy was an airplane painter for Capitol Air Park as well as Downtown Air Park and Scott Rayborn at C.E. Page Airport. He also painted for Bob Moore downtown. His happiest moment in his life was the birth of his son, Braydon. The sun rose and set with that little guy. Andy is preceded in death by his step mother Glenda Mahoney, and uncles, Jimmy Mahoney and Bill Mahoney, and aunt Kay Mahoney and cousin Shawn Mahoney. He is survived by his father Grant, mother Shirley and big brother Tim and his only son Braydon. He is also survived by many cousins, friends and best friend Mike Skala. He was usually a loving son, brother and father. He those difficult moments like all of us when he wasn’t perfect, but he loved every one of his friends and family. He was giving to a fault. Memorial services will be held 11:30 AM Saturday, September 14, 2013 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church.
