She was born to Edward and Lena (Girard) O'Donoghue and graduated from St. Mary’s Academy High School. She worked diligently as a housekeeper in the area for several years, and also operated a fish market, catering to Canadian clientele.
A previous marriage to Michael Irvine and Timothy Tuttle ended in divorce.
She is survived by her brother, Robert (Stephanie) O'Donoghue of Ogdensburg; her sister, Marie (John) Jacob of Evergreen, Colorado; and her sister-in-law, Karen O'Donoghue of Ogdensburg. Mary also leaves behind two grandchildren, Dustin Draper of Adams Center and Cody Draper of LaFargeville, along with three great-grandchildren, Cayden and Camden Beutel, and Aurora Draper.
She was predeceased by her daughter, Valerie Irvine; her brother Frank O'Donoghue, and a sister Elizabeth Smithers.
Linda enjoyed feeding wildlife, caring for her pet cats, tending to her houseplants, as well as camping, fishing, and spending time with her family.
