Carolyn L. Doll-Geiger, a beloved, generous, and kind-hearted individual, passed away on November 12, 2024, at the age of 75 at Claxton Hepburn Medical Center. She was born on October 12, 1949, to Robert & Eleanor (Achterman) Doll Sr., Carolyn lived a life full of creativity and compassion.
She graduated from Parkland High School in 1967 and furthered her education through receiving a Bachelor of Arts from the Philadelphia College of Art, and later a teaching certificate from Kutztown University. She married her best friend Karl Geiger on October 11, 1980, and worked as an artist in Allentown, PA. In 2005, she and Karl moved to Upstate NY, where they enjoyed their time in nature and rescuing many dogs and cats, showcasing her deep love and care for animals.
Carolyn is survived by her husband Karl; her son Michael Geiger and his wife MaryBeth of Powhatan, VA; her daughter Heather Taylor of Turbotville, PA; her brother Robert Doll Jr. and nieces, Adrianne and Alexis Doll of Allentown, PA. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren Andrew and Joseph Koons, Matthew Geiger, and her great-granddaughter Sadie Koons.
In addition to her artistic pursuits, Carolyn enjoyed fishing, gardening, baking, cooking, reading, and caring for all animals. Her unwavering dedication to animals in need were evident throughout her life.
