Bonnie Gardner

Funeral services for Bonnie L. Gardner, age 73 of Ogdensburg will be held on Saturday (Oct 12, 2019) at 2:00pm at the Fox & Murray Funeral Home with Pastor Linda Foody officiating. Burial will follow at Ogdensburgh Cemetery.

Calling hours will be held also on Saturday from 12:00-2:00pm at the funeral home. Mrs. Gardner passed away on Tuesday (Oct 8, 2019) at the St. Joseph’s Hospital in Syracuse surrounded by her loving family.

Surviving are her children Donald Gardner & his fiancee’ Diana Morrow of Ogdensburg and Rona St. Germain also of Ogdensburg; grandchildren Cody (Shelley) Gardner of Ogdensburg, Erin (Dustin) Bennett of Syracuse, Kieryn Farrell of Ogdensburg; great grandchildren Braxton & Jaxson Gardner and Jocelyn Carbascia; step grandchildren Olivia Henry, Joshua Morrow, Abraham Morrow, Aaron Morrow and Emily Morrow all of Ogdensburg; step-great grandchild Fiona Allen of Ogdensburg; a brother Lucky (Vicky) Lutz of Gouverneur along with many nieces, nephews & cousins.

She was predeceased by her parents; her husband Ronald in 2013; a son Cory Gardner in 1993 and a brother Gary Rowe.

Bonnie was born on January 12, 1946 in Gouverneur NY, a daughter of the late Mark & Mabel (Doane) Rowe. She attended Ogdensburg Free Academy for her education, and later married Ronald J. Gardner on December 22, 1962 at the Ogdensburg Methodist Church.

During her career she worked as a heath care aid for CDP and UCP; did private home care for area families, worked at the Edge of Town and Dixie Lee and later for NYSARC where she retired from in 2010.

Bonnie enjoyed crafts, reading, going to the casino, caring for her husband, playing games on the computer and spending time with her family.
