Vianna Gayle Loving

Vianna Loving, age 62 of Odessa, Texas; beloved wife, mother, and devoted grandmother passed away peacefully on February 16, 2017. Vianna was the only child of William Richard Loving and Mary Helen Loving born on February 17, 1955.

She was a longtime resident of Odessa, TX but spent most of her memorable childhood with her cousins in Haskell, TX. Vianna graduated from Odessa High School in 1972, then went on to pursue her RN License at UTPB College. She then joined the Airforce and continued her nursing career from 1975 to 1979 in Las Vegas, NV. In 1979, Vianna left her military calling and returned to Andrews, Tx to work as a nurse at the local hospital. There she met and fell in love with a local police Officer Jerry Wayne Magouirk.

They were married in the little white chapel in Lovington, New Mexico in 1980. They shared 28 wonderful years before Jerry Magouirk passed in 2008.

Vianna moved back to Odessa, TX in 1981 to start her family and began her legacy as an ICU nurse for 25 years at Medical Center Hospital then retired.

She was a strong, eccentric witty woman who took pride in her family. She adored the fine arts, music, good books, high tea, and gardening and was well known for her flare for hats.

She was an avid animal lover. Vianna often volunteered at local Cancer and Alzheimer functions. She shined brightly everywhere and to everyone.

Vianna is survived by four children: Sylvia Marx, Mary McEwin, Vincent Magouirk, April Thomas, and Joel Magouirk (deceased).

She is also survived by nine grandchildren: Tres Marx, Trenton Robinson, Helena McEwin, Skyler Whitley, Zane Whitley, Hunter Magouirk, Cathryn Magouirk, Marissa Magouirk, and Miranda Magouirk.
