Ronald Dean Hammond, 55, a long time resident of Odessa passed away Thursday, February 17, 2010 at Regency Hospital in Odessa. He was born April 10, 1955 in Odessa. He was a machinist for Valve Maintenance and a longtime driller in the oilfield. He graduated from Odessa High School. He married Cathy Waddill on December 19, 1977 in Odessa.
He is survived by his wife Cathy Hammond of Odessa, daughters, Angela Marquez & husband Jose & Sara Hammond & life partner Holly Wimberly all of Odessa, and (2) grandchildren, Ryan Michael & Amerie Alise.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 18, 2011 at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Renaldo Bennett of Lighthouse Restoration Center officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
