surrounded by his family and loved ones.
Born in Lajitas, TX on January 18th, 1945, Robert was raised
in the Big Bend area, and moved to Odessa in the early 50's.
He attended school at Milam and Hays Elementary, as well
as Ector High School, until he married Luz Marie Castellon in 1964.
Soon after, they had three beautiful daughters.
Robert was a very hard working man, who always put his family first.
He worked at the Golden Rooster Club, A-1 Brake and Spring,
Tretolite Chemicals, and FloCO2. He is remembered to have a very
lively sense of humor, and an avid love for the Green Bay Packers.
He loved his daughters, all of his grandchildren and great-grandchildren
that came after. He enjoyed his coffee black,
and his donuts from Southern Maid.

Marie Antoinette Caballero, her husband Joaquin,
George Anthony Armendariz, his wife Marisol, Danielle Renee Romero,
Veronica Rae Romero, Heather Marie Jaquez, and
Samantha Le'Ann Jaquez, as well as his great-grandchildren:
Thomas Anthony Caballero, Ryan Luca Caballero,
Morgan Faye Armendariz, Nathan Anthony Armendariz,
and Audry Michelle Armendariz. He is preceded in death
by his mother: Concepcion Sanchez, and his siblings:,
Patricio Rios, Juana Ramirez, Victoria Jackson,
Joe Miranda, Ruben Sanchez and grandson Robert Anthony Jaquez.
Visitation will be held Monday, August 29, 2016 from 2pm to 9pm
with a rosary being recited at 7 p.m. at Odessa Funeral Home,
1700 N. Jackson Ave. in Odessa. Funeral services will also be held
in the Chapel of Odessa Funeral Home on Tuesday,
August 30, 2016 at 10 a.m., with Burial to follow at
Ector County Cemetery at the Los Angeles Garden,
300 S. Dixie Blvd. Pallbearers will be George Anthony Armendariz,
Joaquin Caballero, Mike Castellon, Bobby Jaquez, James Luna,
and Raymundo Romero, Honorary Pallbearer Christian Jackson.
The family would like to give special thanks to the staff members
at West Texas Cancer Center, as well as to the Star Hospice Care staff,
and especially to Carol Evans for making Robert feel comfortable in his final days.
