Paul "Butch" Jeffery Henderson

He was born on September 17, 1945, in Brady, Texas to Troy and Texia Henderson. Butch grew up in Brady, where he spent most of his time helping his parents with their farm and livestock.

Butch met the love of his life, Amy, in 1998 and spent 25 wonderful years together. He supported Amy and assisted in caring for their grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He spent most of his time working in carpentry, assisting a variety of builders. Butch also enjoyed working as a mechanic, rebuilding lawnmowers and engines.

After retiring, he was a fan of working on his truck, playing golf, and watching Dallas Cowboys football. Butch loved to fish and camp, especially at Robert Lee Lake. His other hobbies included watching western movies and building model cars and trucks.

He is preceded in death by his parents, a brother and niece.

Butch is survived by his wife, Amy; sister, Sandy; 6 stepchildren; 19 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation for Butch Sunday, August 13, 2023, from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home, 601 N Alleghaney Ave, Odessa, Texas 79761. A funeral service will occur Monday, August 14, 2023, at 10:00 am, 601 N Alleghaney Ave, Odessa, Texas 79761. A committal service will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens, 6801 E I-20 Business Loop, Odessa, Texas 79762.
