Norma Lee Stephens

She was born November 12, 1932, in Washita, OK, to Paul and Hattie (Huff) Childers. She worked as a clerk in the office at Odessa College, and was a member of the Baptist Church.

One of her passions was to work on her flowers in her garden; she enjoyed sewing, doing arts and crafts, and enjoyed playing golf. She loved to stay in touch with her life-long friends, both of her church and her work.

She is preceded in death by her parents Paul and Hattie Childers, and a sister Paula Beth Bobo.

She is survived by her sons Mark Stephens and wife, Sylvia of Odessa, and Kyle Stephens and wife, Mary of Gardendale; daughter Tracy Stephens of Midland, TX; brother Richard Childers of Ft Worth, TX; sister Mary McSwain and husband, Cliff of Kennedale, TX; five grandchildren Brett Stephens of Gardendale, Kailea Stephens of Odessa, Jeremy Harris of Austin, Wesley Harris of Gardendale, and Katrena Smead and husband, Jerry of Carlsbad, NM; five great-grandchildren Natalie, Jeri Janell, and Margaret Smead, and Blair and Coy Harris; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Family visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Monday, February 9, 2015, at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, February 10, 2015, at Hubbard-Kelly Chapel with Revs. Curtis Brewer and Jesse Gore officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Mark Stephens, Kyle Stephens, Brett Stephens, Jeremy Harris, Wesley Harris, and Andrew Walker.
