Juan Omar Lujan

Juan Omar Lujan, age 58, passed away on Tuesday, December 12, 2023. Juan was born in Alpine, Texas on November 13, 1965 to the late Jose Israel Lujan Sr and Hortencia Lara. He was a resident of Odessa, Texas.

Juan Omar enjoyed the great outdoors, including camping, fishing, grilling, as well as doing mechanic work.

He is survived by his Corazon, Tanja Ortiz; parents, Hortencia Lara and husband Concepcion Ibarra, and Maria Lujan; siblings, Maricela Lujan Ramirez and husband Willie, Rosa Lujan Kaiser, Jose I Lujan Jr and wife Guadalupe, Mireya Lujan Gomez and husband Richard, Victor Lujan and wife Banessa, and Leticia Chavez; 40 nieces and nephews; and 32 great nieces and nephews.

He was welcomed home by our dad, Jose Israel Lujan Sr; brother, Jorge Lujan; brother-in-law, Carl Kaiser, paternal and maternal grandparents; uncles; and his fur baby, Chevie.

The family will receive friends for visitation Tuesday, December 19, 2023 from 12-9 PM at Odessa Funeral Home with the Rosary at 7 PM. A Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at 2 PM at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church followed by interment at American Heritage Cemetery.

Aaron Ramirez, Aiden Lujan, Anthony Ramirez, Chris Carrasco, Daniel Ramirez, Ismael Lujan, Liam Lujan and Marina Lujan will serve as pallbearers.

The family would like to thank Medical Center ER Unit, CCU Staff, City of Odessa EMS, family and friends for all of their prayers and wonderful care and support though such a hard ordeal.
