Josefa D. Gutierrez, 74, of Odessa, known to grandchildren as “Sunshine”, passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at Medical Center Hospital. She was born July 28, 1941 in Kingsville, Texas and moved to Odessa in 1967.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Adam DelBosque. She leaves behind six sisters and four brothers, two daughters, Lupe G. Tavarez and Lorraine Villela and sons, David Gutierrez, Eustolio “Pistol” Gutierrez, Steve Gutierrez, eleven grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren:
A Rosary will be said at 7:00 pm Friday, January 22, 2016 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. A Memorial service will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, January 23, 2016 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. A reception will follow.
