Elizabeth P Blythe

Elizabeth was born January 17, 1928 in Whittenburg, Texas. She graduated from Abilene High School in 1944 and graduated from Hardin Simmons University in 1947. Elizabeth married her beloved husband, Leo, on June 14, 1952 in Abilene, Texas. They moved to Odessa, Texas in 1954 and were married 48 years before Leo passed away in 2000.

Elizabeth worked for Commercial Ice Machine Co. from 1966 to 2013. She enjoyed travelling and was blessed to go on many trips through the years with Leo. Later, she enjoyed travelling both near and far with many dear friends. She was a member of Crescent Park Baptist Church.

Elizabeth is survived by nieces,Sheri Washington, of Bellevue, Washington, Stacie Styron and husband, Toby of Littlefield, Texas; nephew: Craig Wallis and wife, Chanda, of Centerton, Arkansas; cousin and caregiver: Cami Simmons and husband Greg of Odessa, Texas and many extended family and close friends.

Elizabeth is preceded in death by her husband, Leo Blythe; daughter: Lisa Blythe Krieg; parents: Ben and Era Wallis; sister: Billie Flo Wallis; brothers: Joe Wallis and Ben Wallis.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are entrusted to Frank Wilson Funeral Home.
