Connie C. McCoy

Connie C. McCoy, 86, of Odessa passed away Sunday, March 7, 2010 at Buena Vida Nursing Home. She was born August 11, 1923 to James & Ethel (Sanders) Chambliss in Calhoun County, Arkansas. She married David W. McCoy on March 4, 1946 in Mena, Arkansas. She was retired from Bank One. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Jal, NM.

She is preceded in death by her parents, 1st husband, Brooks McMahen & 2nd husband, David W. McCoy & sister, Allene Johnson.

She is survived by her sons, Brooks McMahen & wife Moon, & Bobby McCoy all of Odessa, daughters, Bonnie Cotten & husband Charles of Odessa, Beverly Seay & husband Jack of Whiteface, TX, brothers, Charles Chambliss & wife Pat of Arkadelphia, ARK, Edwin Chambliss of Camden, ARK, sisters, Bertha Mae Hendrix of White Hall, ARK, Louise James & husband Dana of Tulsa, OK, Annie Sue Harmon of Arkadelphia, ARK, Bernice Robertson & husband Wesley of Camden, ARK, Jessie Ruth Strickland of Hampton, ARK, Carolyn Jane Evans of Little Rock, ARK, (9) grandchildren, (11) great-grandchildren.

Family will meet with friends 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, March 11, 2010 at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 12, 2010 at Asbury United Methodist Church with Rev. Rick Enns officiating. Interment will follow at the Kermit Cemetery in Kermit, TX.
